Together with the expertise of Annabel Karmel, MBE, the Yum Yum Food Company uses only the best quality ingredients, designed to meet the specific nutritional needs of toddlers and children.

Meet Abigail

Founder of the Yum Yum Food Company, Abigail balances running her successful and ever-growing catering business, whilst raising two rather cheeky boys Harry and Thomas.

Abigail started her career in the city, working on IT projects in a variety of Investment Banks. After a year off in Zimbabwe where she volunteered in a children’s home, Abigail returned to the UK in 2003, ready for a career change.

Passionate about nutrition, food provenance and sustainability, Abigail set to work researching the food challenges faced by nurseries and primary schools. She realised an opportunity in the market to provide a quality, cost effective service for the early years sector and set to work on a food delivery solution that would enable every child to flourish.

 

In 2003, the Yum Yum Food Company was born; perfectly balanced and delicious meals cooked-up and delivered at affordable prices.

Whilst the Yum Yum Food Company expands its service across the UK, nutritionally balanced, delicious recipes remain at the very heart of Abigail’s offering. And with innovative bespoke allergy ordering software, backed-up by first class customer service, Abigail has future-proofed her business to lead as an affordable, go-to solution for nurseries and primary schools.

In March 2019, Abigail met Annabel Karmel whilst sampling her nursery recipes at a big nursery trade show and an instant connection was made.
